We're always commenting in our minds, even when it's nothing to do with us. All this unnecessary chatter creates clutter & takes our mind away from being present and calm.
So, here's a challenge for you:
whilst aware of your surroundings,
the sounds,
other people's behaviours,
your thoughts &
emotions;
quietly observe, without making a comment in your mind; zip up your mind; & let the mind - just be.
