Thought for Today 14-04-2012

When someone hurts you,
you can either hold on to the anger and resentment or
you can embrace forgiveness.
Forgiveness doesn't mean minimising or excusing the wrong.

Forgiveness means releasing your feelings of hurt and anger,
and developing empathy and compassion for the one who hurt you.
Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you move forward.
