Do you gossip? Passing on details (that really aren't your business) to a third party (who doesn't need to know)?
What do you get out of it? What has it been costing you?
If you're ready to break the gossip habit,
then catch yourself before you launch into it and ask yourself:
Why am I telling this story?
Am I adding anything to shape the story to suit my purpose?
Remember, you can just say no to gossip.
If you ever do need to pass on any details then be kind and selective about what you say.
